Quelque Chose Pâtisserie specializes in French macarons made with premium ingredients to give our customers  an exclusive high end product. The company started in Caracas, Venezuela in 2010, and is now opening a new branch in Westboro, Ottawa.

The founder and head chef of  the company in Caracas, Julia Dahdah, started her journey in the culinary world in Paris where she attended the prestigious École Ferrandi in Paris. Upon graduation, Julia worked at Pierre Herme’s pastry shop, the master of macarons in France.

The initiative to bring the concept to Ottawa came after the success that Quelque Chose had in Caracas. Our macarons were chosen the best in the Venezuelan capital by the magazine Estampas. Our pièce montée of macarons was featured in Hello! Magazine, Venezuela in the brides special edition.

The head chef of Quelque Chose Pâtisserie in Ottawa is David Seba, who studied cuisine at La Casserole du Chef, and shares the same passion for the culinary art as Julia.
